Some interesting oddities this decade, I think. Queen Anne Shilling, 1711, Love Token. I rarely see love tokens this old. Carlos III, Pretender, Spain, 2 Reales, 1711 Great Britain, Queen Anne, Farthing (Pattern?) 1713. I have no details on this one. Hamm, 3 Pfenninge, 1719. This one is very oblong for some reason. Sweden, 1719, "Hoppet" 1 Daler Emergency Coin
Here are two gold cobs. I'm glad that I was able to buy some decades ago when they were "affordable", so to speak. Mexico, 8 escudos, Philip V, 1713 J. KM 57.1 26.96 grams This coin was a Florida beach find, I was told - probably from the 1715 Fleet. This cob is probably the best in overall condition. Lima, 8 escudos, Philip V, 1715 M. Partial second date. KM 38 26.8 grams
Great Britain, Queen Anne, Farthing (Pattern?) 1713. I have no details on this one. View attachment 1557080 Looks like a copy to me given the quality of the detail. Brass?
Anne double obverse pattern halfpenny. Although undated, some of these are known with an edge reading DUODECIMO, meaning they were struck in 1713. The Peck varieties 708-711 with the various edge readings are meaningless, as the halfcrown edge reading was used, meaning the flan was too small to accommodate the whole inscription, leading to overlap. All readings are therefore likely unique. This one is undated (Peck 712), but the edge is filed on all examples, it is likely that all had an edge reading when struck. Anne 1713 pattern farthing (Peck 732), struck on a defective flan and flipped in the dies giving a double strike. e.g. the tie ribbons emanate from the left side of the shield. 1718 silver proof halfpenny. Peck 778. George I 1719 first issue halfpenny with a grained edge. 3 known.

France Louis XV Jeton 1722 Duchy of Lorraine 30 Deniers 1728-9 Leopold I ($5 loose unidentified) 1 Duit VOC West Friesland 1729-1794. They made this type for a long time. I can't make out the date on the reverse. Russia 1 Denga 1730-1754 Could be one of 3 different Czars depending on the unreadable date on the reverse: Anna, Ivan VI or Elizaveta George II Halfpenny 1730. Some weird environmental damage on poor George II's face, I think. In spite of the worn condition at least I can read the full date.
Spain 1721 Pistareen (2 Reales). Ex. Newman Lots of 1723. This is where my Prime Number set first started, as it was the earliest date for colonial American coinage (Rosa Americana pieces). Here are a couple of those, some Hibernia coppers, and a 1723 Shilling. Rosa Americana penny and 2 pence Hibernia farthing and halfpenny 1723 George I Shilling
