Been quite a day. Haven't been able to get on here much till just now. I wanted to share with you all what Greg (gbroke) sent my way. Really marvelous additions to my collection.....



The coins and stamps in this set are just beautiful to behold but that's not all. He also sent me some banknotes and coins that have been in his family for many, many years. I'm proud to be the new curator of these items and, being mainly a US/modern/commem type o' guy, I'm gonna have a whole bunch o' fun doing the research on 'em.

I will get some pictures up as soon as things quiet down, but I really have to thank Lucy for an incredible gift. It was obvious that it was very heartfelt on her part, and it was very much appreciated on my part. I was touched.

How the heck she knew that an uncirculated 1909 VDB was at the top of my numismatic to-do list is beyond me, but now I have one!! And that wasn't all!

got 2 nice sets of malaysian coins from kinabalu really like them and the fit into my collection of asian coins really well.

 

Unbelievable! An Indian cent, Indian nickel and all those Lincoln cents from the S mint. Wow. It is really fun seeing the pics from everyone Christmas gifts.

Regarding the posts made already by the CT member, there are so many neat coins and notes out there. Many of the pics are first time items for me to ever had seen (even in pic form).

Hi, late to post but I received my Secret Santa gift's . CoinKeeper sent me an NGC 1954 D MS 65 RB cent ; two proof canadian coins, (1) 2005 nickel and 2010 10 cents; also (1) 1967 commemorative cent . Thank you Coinkeeper. Hope you receive mine soon . This was a very nice idea. I have no one to exchange holiday gifts with, so this made the holiday a bit more memorable for me. Cheers !!
