Nice! I’d be happy to pull that one, too! Crossing fingers for a red core on the second!

I'm not an American collector. Is that a good year?

Not the best year but in this case the mint mark being s with a mintage of just over 600k "S"s in 1888 it makes it harder to come by then most of the CC dollars :D survival estimate is just under 7k mostly in lower grades

I'm glad that you came out pretty well. It's a handsome coin, probably my favorite type of U.S. coins.

Ok here we go.. RedCore reveal...
Let's say I'm happy with the coin but as it not a series i collect or have major interest in will probably trade it off.. Instant offer on it is only 425 so won't be going that way as i'm sure I can swap or sell it for a nice CC morgan or ebay it as i've no doubt i can do better then 425 for her :D

I googled it and found nothing.
I googled it again just now and found a picture of this chart but it's on X and whished me to log in...well I don't X so BuffaloHunter is more useful than X, must be that new math thing :D
Guess NGC is rolling this out rather slowly :p

Congrats! I picked up two as well for the first time. Opened a black insert with a 1936 Elgin commemorative half in 9.4, and the other I gave to my father. I noticed while watching box openings for series 7 that a lot of these had not-great eye appeal and was disappointed by many of the coins they purchased this time around.
