So i check serial numbers

    I am more into pennies but the treasure hunter in me also eyeballs serial numbers.

    That's a Replacement Note. Known as a Star note. There are many in circulation. There is a website that lets you lookup star notes to see if they are rare or not.

    Some people try to sell them on eBay for ridiculous amounts of money but in reality they shouldn't have any premium IMHO

    In addition to the information provided by paddyman98, I’ll add that your note is poorly centered, which happens occasionally but devalues any potential value. Cool find.

    I do the same but have never found one that was worth more than face value.

    If the serial # had been 76543210*, that would have been a more interesting 'keeper'
