Welcome to my first Guess the Grade! I hope my photos are decent enough. The word "LIBERTY" is much bolder than the picture suggests.

I'll do the reveal tomorrow morning. The poll closes in 24 hours.

All 1834 half cents are C-1, so attributing it to a variety is very easy.
EAC G5 Sharpness, Net G4 Av.
    TPG VG10.

Is the Poll to be per EAC Standards or TPG/4PG Standards?

I think it's TPG standards, the coin appears to be encapsulated. I put both just to be safe.

I was wondering, because it appears to possibly be self-encapsulated.

Well, in my defense, I would have chosen higher, but there were not higher choices.

    ANACS: I’m at F-12.
    Otherwise I’m at VG-10.
Is Liberty’s nose scratched or is that a die crack. It may be Details if scratched.

It is a scratch, but it looks old and toned over.

It's a scratch, but a very light one.

Why do you both think that it would receive a higher grade from ANACS? Are they known for being more liberal?
