I'm sure someone will say "fake" and another will say "cleaned" but I say NICE and think it looks about MS-63. I would have it certified by NGC just to be sure though...
It looks like an authentic piece too me, but I'm not an expert. I think I would get it certified as suggested in earlier post.
Those pictures are tough to grade because of size, but you are supposed to grade more leniant on gold because of how soft it is. So I guess I would grade it MS-65?
Droolicious works for me. I based my grade on an 1899 $10 Lib I own that PCGS called MS60 and a 1907 $10 Lib that they called MS61. I stand by MS63 and if you do send it in to be certified please let us know the results.
had offers of $1650-$1900 from different dealers. at the time blue sheet was $1650 for PCGS 63. btw; IRL this coin looks better than my PCGS 64.
yep!..IMO this coin is NG.that's the reason why its not going in for certification.the coin is a MS63+ IRL. i had offers between $1650-$1900 from different dealers, but i refuse to sell anybody a counterfeit coin.
I THINK YOU SHOULD SEND IT IN TO BE CERTIFIED, THEN YOU'LL KNOW FOR SURE IF IT'S A GOOD COIN. FOR A SMALL INVESTMENT YOU CAN TURN A $300 COIN INTO SOMETHING MORE VALUABLE. iF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO JOIN THE CLUB THEN SEND IT TO DGS OR ANACS. OH DARN I HAD THE CAPS LOCK ON SORRY!!!!!!!
no need to...look at the dentils @ 8-9:00 on the rev. they don't look good to me. the color looks good, very nice details, butttt those dentils tells me that this coin is 99.99% counterfeit.
Next time, delete and retype your post, it takes a grand total of 30 seconds. If you can't take 30 seconds to retype a post, it only furthers my initial perception of you. Oh wow, they do really thin out there... I'm no expert on gold, that thing would have fooled me upon a cursory examination.
Yea I dont think it would get 66 either just from those two hits in the field on the obv in front of the face. But is a nice looking 65.
