Here's my original thread: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/i-think-i-found-the-1976-d-fs-101-bicentennial-quarter.407764/ On Ebay I saw two of about equal/lesser condition than mine that sold for $100 each. Is it necessary to send it to a TPG (hopefully not)? Thank you. Just to start the second auction. The coin has the ring of death on it. It still sold for a bill. Having a slab definitely wouldn't hurt. I am just not sure that it is gonna gain you any money. I would call the coin XF/AU looks like it has some luster next to the devices.
These sales you referenced weren't certified. Personally, I'd go with $99.95, instead of $99.99, as I wouldn't want to price-gouge anybody.
