Went to the coin expo today in Denver, had a great time. First show for me since 2018 ANA Denver.

Anyways, this coin was handed to me as the show stopper.
    Cool coin.

I do have to say that the surfaces on this coin were pristine. Gem worthy no doubt.

    It is a show stopper,
O am really interested in opinions with this one.

    Guess the price tag.
I would appreciate you to vote in the poll.
    Thank you.

WOW! I have never seen another like it. I would probably say it is worth $2,400-3,000+ easily. Probably 1 of a kind ??? Calling @paddyman98

    Def Dam!
I find it quite interesting the reverse has only one strike design. It must have been struck on a capped reverse die for the 2nd,3rd,4th strike.

? To clearly see in hand the USOF, EPU and one cent.
Sorry about the lower detail in the photos. One cent is readable. That had to be the first strike/ combined with a capped die, right?

I did not say anything about it not being an error coin. It is in a TPG slab.
    I think.

Ok so its a mixture between some damage and an error.Sorry my first interpretation of your post was you saying it was completely damage.

I'm Sorry , Def Dam! was an exclamation of surprise, not a description of the coin.

If it was not damage it would not be an error coin. Most all error coins are due to some kind of damage to the Die , Planchet, or during Striking. This one would be a striking error.

Thank for posting the photos. @Pickin and Grinin.
I know coins like this are considered highly valuable by some. I can learn things from just seeing photos of it, without having to own it.

That's an awesome error coin. I would pay up to $900 to 1,000 for it, but I am sure it went for more. That is my guess.

It still sits in his case.
I might head back with the kiddo tomorrow. See if he wants to sell it, or just throwing back high numbers. I mised a few good buys.
    Definitely the Gen Mc Aurthur.

Did the owner have an asking price in mind, or was he/she just showing it off?
