Hi everyone, I'm not a collector but I was hoping you could still help me out. I found a very very tiny quarter in a drawer the other day. It certainly is too small to have been used as real currency. Could anybody give me a name, or some info, so I can do some reading about it? I have scanned it next to a regular-sized dime (despite my stupid mistake in my username! :headbang: haha!) for scale. Thanks!
It might be something similar to these shrunken coins, which are real coins. Mine weigh exactly what they should but are thicker to compensate for the reduced diameter. Yours seems way to small and undeformed to have gone through the same process as mine.
Maybe you only ran yours through the dryer once. Looks like smallD does it all the time. His became very very tiny. Lol
LOL no wonder they're so tiny-- i always forget to empty out my pockets before throwing pants in the wash. :vanish: :goof: any idea who the heck would make such a tiny quarter and WHY?
