Don't know. The 2 Peso in the picture is dated 1945. What's more important here: the size, amount of gold, cost, age, or something else? I know of some ancient gold coins that are small but they're a bit more expensive then the Austrian ducat or Mexican 2 peso.

Do the Liberian $25 coins count? Can be had for $40 or less (contain about $35 worth of gold--.73 grams IIRC). Here's mine:

For US coins I'd say the 1/4 Eagle Indian head . You can even get the coronet head 1/4 eagle near melt . If you don't mind foreign , the 2 peso Mexican as mentioned is a nice looking coin .

The old $1 gold coins are a lot cheaper than the $2.5 coins.. and you can get some cheaper than modern 1/10th ounce coins too. That would be my suggestion.

I wouldn't buy gold off Ebays BIN as the prices asked are usually too high , plus there's a lot of fakes if you don't know gold coins . I'd go to a local B&M shop or PM Matt (LostDutchman) as he has his own B&M shop and you will get a real coin at fair prices .

Do you have any idea how small 7mm is ? Let's put it this way, in diameter, a dime is almost 3 times as big. To put that into perspective, those coins are about the same diameter as a pencil eraser.
