GC has one listed for this week's auctions.
    Greysheet doesn't list it.
    Numismedia doesn't list it.
    Red Book doesn't list it.
My only Shield Nickel resource doesn't list it.
NGC slabbed it, but NGC doesn't show it in their coin values.

    What the heck!

Anyone find any value for it.
If so, please let me know where.

Since it was NGC who graded it, I would refer you to the NGC Variety Plus page for Shield Nickel die varieties:

    https://www.ngccoin.com/variety-plus/united-states/nickels/shield-five-cents-1866-1883/?page=1

Looks like there are quite a few different overdates for that year - but they don't have images for the particular variety you mentioned (FS-1301)

That being said, I just checked the PCGS Price Guide and they have the variety listed with images:

    Thanks, all.
You gave me sites that I would have never found.
    I'm not familiar with them.

Actually I hate seeing coins like this.
Just when I think I've got a complete set, something additional shows up.
Something not listed in the Red Book or the Greysheet.
So unless I get a specialty catalog, I don't know that some interesting varieties exist.

If you get into varieties, it’s kind of like getting into ancients. You will NEVER have a “complete” set of either. It’s best to stick to basic type/date/mint if the goal of completion matters to you.

Or, if you’re fine with the open-endedness of it all and don’t care about filling album slots or checking items off a list, then sure, go for as many varieties as your enthusiasm leads you to.

Me, I always preferred to stick with basic type sets or date/mint combinations and never cared much about doubled dies or overdates and such. But I’m probably in the minority there.

I don't have to have everything to be happy with a set. Age taught me to just have fun and roll with it.

I've have been told by an expert on shield nickels that there are more unfound variety shield than all that are discovered and listed. I sent severl in that were discovery coins.
I love shields as a variety collector, I picked 3 nice variety shield nickels late Week of June.
An reverse of 68, a ddo, and a rpd. Better yet paid <$40 for the 3.
