Well folks, I have 2 new discovery doubled die coins back from John Wexler, problem is I have another 10 waiting to be attributed. All the same quarter. The question here is, who else does attributions at a reasonable price?
Meow meant the ones you got back. Meow has found a few questionably unknown doubled dies, but just stashed them in the Cat Hoard. If Meow did get a positive attribution on them, maybe one day there will be MeowTheKitty listed coins on Wexler's.
I will say this kitty.......since they're all the same quarter, as soon as I can send off the rest I'll disclose the variety. So,.. about the attributions guys?
Well Ok, anyway congrats on the finds. Meow always has dreams of the next great error when CRH. And we all know Cat's love to hunt. Silver and doubled dies are better than mice!
Did they get attributions from wexler> or are you saying he couldn't accept them for it due to health or backlog? Jim
CONECA is the repository of knowledge about varieties and errors. I prefer them above all individuals.
Sorry bout the delayed response but..........I had 2 attributed by John, He sent those back and I sent another package to him with other finds and no replys from him since November. I have another 8-10 of the new discovery coins that still need attribution on. Just not ready to send $100's off to PCGS for $7 quarters.
I think you need to remember something, or maybe I should say be aware of something. The TPGs will only attribute and slab the major DDO/DDR coins. In other words, if it's not one of the major ones (and there are only a few major ones) they simply will not label the slab as a DDO or DDR. Point being, sending them in would be a waste of time to begin with because you're never going to get a slab label that says they are DDO or DDR.
