Very nice coin and photo Kevin. Welcome to the forum. Here's a few that I plucked out of the 'change' when I was about your age......:)

It's 1990's, just in case you couldn't make it out it's a little Shakey.

That one is an American Silver Eagle. :) One dollar face value, but true value comes from its silver content. I like 'em.

Been working on a 1940's short set (low grade, not very high cost) for fun.

Here's my 1928-S I got ~12 years ago. It's my first Walker and one of the first coins I ever bought. As you can tell, it saw many pockets during its life.

Nice eagles. :) Where do you typically get yours? Do you typically go for the 'bullion' style (as appears to be pictured), or do you ever pick up the mint-marked or proofs?

Nice set! That's like.. the long version of the short set. All mints! :)

There's an intriguing charm when it comes to circulated coins........

That '45-S and '46-D is just stunning.

    Why thank you :)

I get mine typically from a coin shop in a neighboring town. Have developed a great relationship with the owner and can't go wrong. Only once or twice have I bought elsewhere but the price had to be right or my coin dealer out of stock.
I do buy the mint marked ASE's as well as the proofs. Have assembled a few years worth of the proof and have every ASE special set except for the 2006 and 2011 sets.
