Certainly NOT one of the finest you'll ever see but I've been hunting for an acceptable (to me) one for a couple years.
Both the 1928-A and 1928-B $1 Silver Certificate XB Block Experimental seem to be hard to find.
I had no trouble with the YB and ZB Blocks.
Anyway that leaves me with only the 1935 experimental BB and CB blocks to find to complete my small size $1 Silver Certificate set.

I believe they also did 1935 AB experimentals.

True, but I already have the AB experimental block.

    Ok, cool

Are you going to go after the Natick or Gilbert experimentals also ?

I think it would be good if you could enlighten the unenlightened about these experimental blocks. Under what context are notes in all of these blocks experimental? Basically, what is the background of them?

Either I'm not familiar with them or know them by a different name.
I strongly suspect I'm not familiar with them.
If they are not listed in the Schwartz/Lindquist book I don't know them.

It tells you all about them in that link I shared.

The Gilbert experimentals (1963) are just barely mentioned in the Schwartz/Lindquist book.
I appear to have ignored it.
I'll have to look further into that.

As for the Natick experimentals (1977-A) I haven't really gotten into that series yet so I don't know which way I'll go with them.
I'm still trying to finish up the various 1963 and 1969 issues.
    And 1974 comes before 1977.
