Tempest Storm, RIP, America's greatest burlesque and striptease artist

Tempest Storm, the famous "Exotic Dancer" or "Stripper", passed on April 20, 2021 at the age of 93.

I do not have a US coin to honor her but here is this Italian coin minted 100 years ago:

How about an honorable mention for Sally Rand and her fan dance?

 

Heck, just look at the U.S. 1916 and 1917 quarters, plus a lot of our older paper money...bet 95% of the non-numis "woke" of today don't even know about it or they'd be trying to cancel that, too.

 

Stripping as done by the "early" burlesque gals was done as a tease and never showed a bare breast or other assets. Always pasties of some sort, and a Merkin.
