I usually post on the world coins forum, so this is a first here. I was cleaning out some bins and found some old currency from Spain that I bought many years back. Shared on a different forum but I think there is more traffic over here on CoinTalk. No ultra rarities; just some nice colorful pieces with great artwork. Do forum members have any other Spanish currency to add?

More large notes; all circulated with some stains, folds, wear, etc.

    Beautiful Notes!
Those Spanish engravers really were really 'groovy'.

I have a few old notes from España, none qualify as anywhere near pristine. The more recent ones I brought back with me from a trip to Barcelona some years ago and some came from a pile inherited from a relative.

The small Una Peseta at top is unfortunately barely legible, but I think I saw the date 1915 on it, just under the tape (which I'm afraid to remove). It definitely looks like it's that old. That or it's inadvertently been through the dryer a few times.

My favorite Spanish note is this little tiny 2 pesetas dated 1938.
