there are plenty of coins with die chips that are collectible to some people, all depends on where the chip is located on the coin...

I thought I knew a lot about coins before joining here in 2008 , but I found out how little I know . Now I have a nice library of reference books and have learned 10Xs what I knew mostly from the people here . It's a great place to learn , but remember there are some people who like to post more than they know and others that truly know what they're saying . Most are in the 2nd group so take answers with a grain of salt till you learn who knows what .

Thanks I will most definitely take your advice . I'm leaning as I go. But I will keep that in mind. I learned alot by just reading the posts here than I have in months searching the web. I look forward to the honest feed back. And learning how the coin collecting minds work.

This reminds me of the "Extra Curl" Presidential Dollars which has a conveniently located die chip!
