Started to think about songs that mention a coin in the lyrics, boy, I think we could come up with a few!

    CCR/Down on the Corner

    "Willy and the Poorboys are playin';
Bring a nickel; tap your feet."

To really stretch it PINK FLOYD, MONEY. It doesn't mention coins directly but you can hear coins rattling in a till at the start of the song

What about ABBA's 'It's a Rich Man's World'? That contains references to money in it as well.

Can't think of the song titles but know the artists and the lines.

    "Just got paid today
Got me a pocket full of change" ZZ Top

"Got brass in the pocket" Pretenders

"Shilling for the man who brings the sheep in
shilling for the man who milks the herd" XTC

    WOW !

A man after my own heart. Yep, that's "Just Got Paid" by Billy Gibbons and crew. I thought that one was buried forever... a personal favorite.

    Here's an obscure one -

    "I only got a nickel
got to score myself a dime
    gotta make it to tomorrow
buy a little more time" - "Evil Woman", Doobie Brothers

"Operator" by Jim Croce - "You can keep the dime"

and then, to illustrate the effects of inflation...

"You Win Again" by Mary Chapin Carpenter -

"I’m standing here freezing at a phone booth baby
In the middle of God knows where
I got one quarter left your machine packs up
But baby I know you’re there"

I'm sure that there are other references to the use of coins in phone booths ("Daddy, what's a phone booth?") but those are the first two that come to mind.
