Richmond' Coin and Currency Club had its first ever coin show. Overall, not a bad showing. Approximately 40-50 tables I would guess with a steady flow through about 3 o'clock. Admittedly, there wasn't too much variety, but I was still able to gather a couple of specimens for my Walking Liberty set. Most everyone seemed to have fun and dealers I spoke to said they had a good show for it being the town's first go at a show. Overall, glad I attended and helped with the group. Now....the news! 1946 S And this one seemed a bit difficult to get for the date and grade I wanted. A little over budget but I don't have any buyer's regret. 1939 D
Nice pickups! That '39 is quite attractive. "Not a bad showing" of 40-50 tables? Here in southern Idaho, we get about 12 dealers.... Thanks for showing!
Coin nerd, brothers and sisters, I claim to thee on this holiest of days I did not commit 1 of the 10 Deadly Numistmatic Sins laid out by Moses on the Mount. I think it is just how the 2x2s were made.
I doubt there were anything near 40-50 dealers. Just one dealer may have 2 to 3 tables for displaying products.
