No. A 2 Franc is supposed to weigh 2.2g. Yours is fine. You should probably learn the difference between 2 and 1 since the "heavy" 1 franc with no mm is valuable. All of this was found with a less than 2 minute google search. I haven't posted in almost 2 weeks and said I was done for awhile specifically due to threads like yours. I've read so many of your posts in my ~2 week hiatus and they are frustrating. You clearly have not taken any time to learn or do proper research on your own. This will be the last thread of yours I reply to because I feel it is a lost cause trying to help. Good luck in the future. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1943-2-francs.227673/ https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces299.html https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...-km-904.1-1943-1944-cuid-1128693-duid-1263929
I did research and did read about it probably read wrong info but I read it on here sorry to irritate you but I'm not computer savvy just yet I'll get there and please quit putting me down I don't do that to you or anyone else. I have not called anyone an idiot if you don't like my post don't respond and no i dont want help all the time. Just already learned info or suggestions didn't know coin chat wasn't the place for help sorry.
If you are computer savvy enough to take pictures and post and ask questions on a forum, you are savvy enough to google your question first. 99.99% of everything you have posted/asked could be easily found by yourself. I'm not saying that asking questions is bad. On the contrary, asking questions is good. It's how you learn. However, you've been given tons of resources for things and still ask the same questions. Then you post things like the coin above without doing a simple search to see what is out there. You spend more time taking pictures and posting worthless crap than you do actually learning something on your own. You clearly (to me) have no real desire to actually learn. You just want instant gratification of an answer from someone instead of taking a bit of time to find it yourself. I wasn't implying that you called anyone an idiot. There are other people who go on rants about how their garbage is gold and so on and so forth. You just post a lot of garbage and don't seem to care to learn. That's just my 2 cents. If you remember, I was very much in favor of you staying around when you had mentioned giving up. However, in that time I see the same pattern of posting and not looking to really take in any information and increase your knowledge. Sorry, it's just a pet peeve of mine. Why should I or anyone else waste their time trying to help you when you don't want to help yourself?
I do read about what I post just forget what I read by time I get on here and forgive me for not having the money to buy coins of value as soon as I get out of this wheelchair I will be metal detecting again MS can break a woman but your worse IMO.
I have no problem with you not having valuable coins. I don't have any either. I roll search and have some cheap foreign stuff. I am not wealthy. I wouldn't hold that against anyone. However, I take the time to research on my own what I have BEFORE I post. I've spent hours reading and searching things. There have been times I've asked questions because I was truly stumped. But that was AFTER I did due diligence and tried my best myself. Nor do I hold you having MS against you. I'm sorry you are suffering from it. It's a horrible disease. That being said, I don't see how that has anything to do with your posts and seeming lack of desire to learn/do any research on your own. I wish you the best of luck with your MS and hope you get to a point where you can go out and metal detect.
Thank you and I'm sorry for irritating you it affects my memory my eyes my legs but the worst is the tremors today was bad trying to see if I had another coin by measuring it you know how hard it is too measure such a small coin
You have a coin of Vichy Regime. Such coins were minted in Paris (no mint mark), Castelsarrasin ("C") and Beaumont - Le Roger ("B"). Coins of Paris are very common, coins of Castelsarrasin are rather common but coins of Beaumont - Le Roger are rather rare.
