I read in the whitman book that a blank quarter planchet can be worth $6 from one mint, and $75 from the other, but if it's blank how can I tell what mint it is from?

    The one attached...what's it worth?

I don't know of any way to determine the mint or the year but here is something I found on a coin info website:
"Blank planchets are fairly common errors and as the denomination rises they become scarcer. A cent planchet would be about a dollar. A nickel or dime about $2. A quarter around $5, a half $12-15, and a dollar coin $25-35."

Well you can't tell which mint it's from. You can rule out San Francisco because it doesn't look like a proof. So you are down to two.
