all right PIC posted washington dollar picture. all right best i can do on my scanne. Tried to stand one up, you can kind of see the 2007 and the D mint mark. one of them had a indentation by the mint mark. could have been from a sorter/roller. they are a little more yellow than the scanner shows, but not as yellow as the SAC.
The price for the 4 Presidential set is 14.95 rolls of P and D are 35.95 Bags of 250 are 319.95 here is the link for mint prices http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&identifier=9100 Link to Fed Reseve Commemorative Coins - FRB Philadelphia http://www.frbservices.org/Cash/comcoin/philadelphia.html
Good Job!!!! And You are Offically the 1st one on here to have the New Dollars!!! At least to my knowledge!!! Good Score... You might toss a few on Ebay, I'd like to see what kinda price they bring ya...
I talked to someone at one of my banks today and asked if they were planning to push the Presidential dollars. She said they don't even plan to get them in at all. They don't want them and won't order them... but "you can buy them online"
Anyone notice how much Washington looks like the great sphinx one of the bank people around here said that they would have to order a certain amount to get something like the presidential coins. not sure what she said but seems like 10k worth or something like that . I live in a small area and so far no one know about them except the people I told. 3 banks contacted and the ones i talked to never heard of them. probably wait till the proof mint set comes out later and order some then. I would love to get some just to try and spend some to see peoples reaction around here. probably get thrown in jail for passing counterfit coins.
I checked a few just to see if they had them or heard of them... No luck... Check with 2 different US Banks, Neither had them, one had not heard anything about them and tried to tell me I was talking about the new ""State Quarter"... The other said, they would not hear anything about what new coins they were getting till the end of March... Checked at a Bank of America, did not have them, never heard of them, and then rudly told me they would not give coins or change to non account holders.... Tried a credit union, they had not heard anything about them.... Just for Grins, I talked to a clerk at QT, I asked him if has seen or heard aobut the new Presidential Series Dollar Coins???, Hes asked if I ment the "State Quarters, as he has heard of those, but not any new Dollars... I said, its the same color and about the same size as the SACs and I mentioned the edge letter, he said, wait, will this be paper??? WOW... :desk: Is coin collecting and new coinage really that off the table and esoteric that no one knows of it???
I hadn't till yyou mentioned it.... Also, looks pretty angry or stern... But I guess all those people looked a bit cranky then... I would too if I had wooden teeth.. Same here.... I wonder how many cashiers will try to refuse them... I wonder if on the 15th, or any anytime soon, if there will be anything on the enws about these???
Checked another bank, and they said no plans to get them... I don't care much about collecting them, I just want to spend them

Does anyone know if the Government has any plans to promote the release by having Wal-Mart, or other businesses, pass them out as change, as they did with the Sacajawea dollars in 2000?
I also asked the tellers at my bank if they were getting any in or if there were any plans on ordering any. I got the same reaction and the same answers that all of you guys got. Never heard of them, dont know if they can get them and dont know that there was a new dollar coin coming out. I guess I'll be ordering mine also.
Andrew, those are nice photos of the 1st Presidential $1 coin.I am pleased that they didn't recycle the Quarter design on the $1 coin, otherwise,it would have looked very strange & out of place with the rest of the series. Aidan.
