It looks like I'm just going to miss the Quarterly Grading Special for PCGS of 50% the TrueView service. They say it has to be postmarked by today and I am probably going to get my last coin in on Monday. Then I was thinking, I am going to be sending them priority mail, so I'll probably use the USPS click-and-ship site, so couldn't I just print out a label from there and say I expect to ship it out today, and just wait until Monday to actually ship it out? I have gotten a few things in the mail from eBay that have the click-and-ship labels and I can't remember if any of them were postmarked. Do any of you know, are the shipping labels with bar codes postmarked? Would I be ok doing the idea mentioned about, just print out the label today and ship it early next week?
Except the shipping label, is not the postmark. The postmark is stamped by the USPS as the date they received the item for mailing/shipping.
In the case of electronic postage, no matter what date you put on your label, it must show that it was accepted by the USPS today to beat the deadline.
