Please Help Me Grade My 1897 Barber Dime

I'll guess AU.

 

The images is a bit out of focus. I'm guessing the luster is there.

 

Yeah definitely has some luster my camera just can't pick it up without good lighting. How can you tell a Barber Dime is worn?

and take the photo from directly above instead of an angle too.

 

I'd say about a 45. Looking at the reverse I can see there's a few friction marks on the high points you can see a color difference in your pictures could be cabinet friction

 

XF. Without better pics it is hard to nail down.

 

I'm going EF40 based on these photos. What is going on with the 7? It looks like a die gouge off the top to the bust..

Xf 45 not a lot of wear but not enough luster for an au grade. A nice original though

 

Haven't even noticed it. Does that add any extra value to the coin?
