FYI: you can still find some things on eBay. I recently got this 6 coin set that is mostly matte (FM) issues and then a Manila-minted 5 piso that is Proof-like. Not seen for sale often but this set was released by the Central Bank in the P.I. It is interesting that these Central Bank issues are a mixed bag with no predictability as far as contents: they can be matte or prooflike, and they can be Manila minted or from the FM. I am not sure of the mintages either of these sets or the coins that make it up. Krause and other sources have mintages that may not be entirely believable - even though I can not prove it, I have noted that with the FM and even Central Banks that there are several numbers when it comes to mintages. The number authorized The number actually struck The number released to the Bank The number the Bank sold or released (net) These may be the same or not, but they do not have to be at all. Anyway, here is the set:
Interesting. On great collections lately I've been seeing quite a few modern coins from the Philippines, even some patterns. I wonder why their were two entities minting them. From your write up, did the Manila mint only produce the 5 piso coin?
Not quite sure as there were some other mints involved. If you look at Krause 2020 the 20 centimos and the One Peso in 1975 they were struck at VDM (a German private mint) and US (Philly?). Very strange.
