Just found a couple of coins that I liked at the Northeast Numismatics site out of Concord, MA. Anybody have any prior dealings with them and are they reputable? I'm just getting into the hobby and it looks like a minefield out there. With so many dealers out there I don't want to "step in it". http://www.northeastcoin.com/index.jsp
http://www.cointalk.com/t14152/ Here is a recommendation. I haven't used them but I think they are okay.
While I have never actually purchased a coin from Northeast Numismatics, I have always heard very good things about them. The have a very good website and high quality coins. I would not hesitate to buy from them.
I have bought several items from them over about ten years, always very very pleased with buying from them. NEN has very nice high end materiel in several areas, USA, foreign etc. I would recommend them all the way.:smile
I have heard good things about them. Talked to them at shows several times. This morning I was on their site and ordered 2 items without hesitation.
I have known Tom and Chris at N.E. Numismatics for years and do business with them at many shows. They are good guys and quite easy to deal with.
I like to think I'm a good judge of character. By looking at their site, I would have no problem buying from them.
have never bought from them but I was impressed with them at this weekend's show. They were the only ones doing something special for the kids. Each kid that came by their booth was given a brown lunch bag and allowed to take as many coins as their hand would hold from a large punchbowl for free. Mostly foreign but also some wheats. They also donated the 1/10th oZ. gold coin that I ended up winning for my exhibit. They seem like really nice guys and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them Richard
I visit their site often. I have yet to buy from them but I will once I find a coin that I am ready to buy.
