Anyone know if NGC posts the tracking numbers of their return shipments to you on their site for you to retrieve? I can't seem to find anything about the coins they say are finished once I've found the grades... Just wondering if this is something they provide, or if they do not. Thanks!
If you provided your email address on your NGC submission form, you should receive a shipping notice that includes the USPS tracking number.
Would you happen to know what address they send that from? I got an odd email last week shortly after my gold Kennedy grade was posted with a tracking number, but no details of what it was for, and the tracking number itself has never shown up as being valid.... I did include an email address on my submission forms.
The email it comes from is: donotreply@ngccoin.com If you want to know what it is for, and you really have that much stuff concurrently at NGC, you just use the "submission number" to know submission the invoice is for.
You have to call NGC (800 # on the website) and get the correct tracking #. They will give you the correct tracking #.
Thanks folks - my gold Kennedy came back today... Will post it in the other thread. Nothing shows up in my received mail from donotreply@ngccoin.com so either they sent it from another email address or they didn't send it.
Ok, just got 3 more emails from NGC. Here's the format the message is in: Carrier: USPS Manifesting ORIGIN 34240 Service: 1C Tracking #: 92xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Registered # Inv.# 26xxxxx Emails came from: dnunez *AT* ngccoin.com None of the tracking numbers show up as valid. This is the same as the previous shipment - are these not able to be looked up on the USPS search?
I was told at one time the USPS does not show Registered/insured tracking numbers online as they travel across the country. This is to protect the safety & value of these packages and their different sorting USPS locations.
NGC packages are tracked by USPS by RE tracking numbers. I don't know why they don't provide them in the email. Try calling them to ask for the RE #.
