Wow, I see some nice doubling for sure. I am not the one to say if it's MD or not though. Nice find though.

Very very nice Doubling, I would have to say it was a DDR but my track record isn't the best :D

I had that same problem with my 2005s and 6s when i 1st heard of those errors but my mint rolls still intact!! (but i did buy 2 more set off ebay and opened those hehe)

Would you mind taking one more picture of the "liberty" again? If you can, focus on the er in liberty?

The reason I asked you to post a second image was to compare it to the original you posted. In the image below, I took out shadows and added depth. The arrows point to the areas I believe may be machine doubling but the b and the L look interesting. I am not saying this is not a doubled die, I just wanted to see another image.

From the pics, it looks like it’s a DDR, but not so much a DDO – the obverse looks more like MD. But, you’re going to need much better pics to make a determination. Pics like those can be very misleading.

Looks like machine doubling to me... even the steps are doubled on the reverse...

The reverse of this coin looks as though the photo was taken through an Air-Tite or some other type of capsule. If you look at the scratches in the field around the word "cents", you'll see doubling in those, too. I think the appearance of doubling on the reverse is due to a reflection from the capsule back to the coin. I hope, though, that I'm proven wrong on this observation.

As statequarterguy opined, better pics will be much more helpful in a final determination of this matter.

I've add another pic click on then double click on then it should increase in size so you can see the ler and 20

Remembering this is a single squeeze die type of coin, from the available photos I see it as machine doubled rather than a true doubled die. IMO.

IMO the new pic of the obverse shows MD, not DD. Can you post better (clearer) pics of the reverse? As was mentioned, it looks like your reverse pic was taken with the coin in a holder, which could produce doubling even if the coin has no doubling.

MD obverse, however, you may have a DDR. A clear pic of the reverse will help greatly.
