How have I not seen your Syracuse gold Dionysus II Tet?! So early, yet not an archaic portrait of Herakles at all An Axumite coin is high in my list... but I'd not dream of acquiring one as sweet as yours. And my third fav is that ADORABLE Aelia Eudocia But LOVE them all. Thanks so much for your sharing and being a wonderful contributor to this community I did purchase my first AV coin this year...a fourré LEO V and son CONSTANTINUS 813-820, "Syrakus" .Au-Tremissis 20.5 MM 2.80 grs, Crowned frontal bust of Leo V with a crossed globe. Rs: Crowned frontal bust of Constantine with a cross globe. Sear cf. 1632. Fouree
Hope there will be many more/ these are highly addictive Many thanks, and I wish You and your Family a Happy 2022! I started into Denari/ Antoniniani/ I am getting hooked on these John
I just updated my World "top 10" for you. Thanks! Talerman (love your posts) Best Wishes for You and Your loved ones for 2022 John
Thanks Nicholas! Only regrets are on the days the temps hit 28 celsius and above/ I DO NOT like hot/ humid weather. In my world, when a cold beer tastes good/ its probably not much fun to be outside. Unfortunately, where I live temps often hit 30 cel. in June/ July/ August John
#1 Syracuse, #11 Kallatis and #10 Leo are my preferred coins, but I have to admit that the ones from the medieval period have all very nice details. Congratulations !
Thanks singig! Its always hard for me, since I collect all 27 centuries. Probably goung to make "enemies" here.....but I like Baroque/ Roccoco era coinage best Here is one....
An impressive 2021 ancient-medieval coins. Congrats @panzerman. Wishing you and yours a healthy and wonderful 2022
Some beautiful gold as usual, these are great! My favorites are the Aelia Eudocia and the Mithradates stater.
As usual, @panzerman, you don't disappoint! I have one word, "WOW"! I expect I would have the same reaction to the other "83"!
