We run a restaurant and any older bills jump out at you, but this one more than most. It's seen better days but it's a 1950 B $20 Bill and looks to be fairly off center. Any extra value for this miscut?
I don't think the miscut adds any value. My experience has been off center cuts like this hurt the value if anything because they are unaesthetic. You either want a nicely centered example or an example so miscut that some of the design elements are missing. In between (as this note is) is a negative. However, it is fun to find these old notes so it's a neat find regardless.
Here's a similar note on eBay, in somewhat better condition. The "miscut" (like yours) is so slight, it isn't even mentioned. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Series-1950...610?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d13f0f662
Same thing...based on my experience this miscut hurts the value. I'm not too surprised they didn't mention it.
I have a 1950, 20 bill series B, from top to bottom and on bottom is a line looks like where they were supposed to cut, any value to that
