I purchased a stack of $2 bills and when going through them I found this bill that had been mis-cut. As you can tell from the photo attached it has two different serial numbers - Top half is a separate bill and the bottom half is a separate bill. Just curious to know if anyone could give me an idea of what you think it may be worth. Would entertain offers also. Thanks very much Ice2Ice
Don't take my word for granted, still learning here, but Isn't that considered a 'high serial number' that was from an uncut sheet? I remember a thread earlier about somebody taking some of these uncut sheets and passing them on ebay to get a hefty profit.
That is news to me and if so then so be it. Would not surprise me in the least. I bought from a person in town and maybe they did not know this was in there. I will do some more checking
Thanks everyone appreciate the response. will put it away to entertain the next generation in my family
The info I gave earlier (post #3) came from USPapermoney.com. It's definitely a hand cut note and did not come from BEP that way. It has no value over face. You might find a sucker on eBay, but is that really fair or honest?
