Howdy, I would like to share two Mexican Pesos Banknotes that I have in my collection. My fav. is the second image with the Mexican Eagle. I would like to know more general information about them. One of the banknotes is also posted here by another poster. Here are the banknotes front and back. Quality is not that good because I just wanted to scan them in a hurry and my printer takes a while to scan at a higher resolution. 1.) Front 2.) Back
texguy, your notes are listed in the Krause specialized world catalog. The 20 pesos Chihuahua note is number S537 b (with date on back). Price VG .75 VF 2.00 Unc 4.00. The Gobierno Provisional de Mexico note is numbered S701 a. Price G 1.75 Fine 5.00 XF 12.00. If you would like to learn more about Mexico's revolutionary currency check out this site http://www.jdwjme.com/mexrev/index.htm. Your notes are listed there. Lou
Yes they are and I would like to have more if anyone has extras that they want to get rid of. Thanks. Thanks for the info.
I have one of those plus I got some extra notes that my mothers ex-bf gave me when he went to Mexico and he came back with an envelope filled with Mexican Banknotes just for me. Here is the list: 1.) One Peso (just like ur image, x1). 2.) 10 Pesos (Hidalgo, x2) 3.) 50 Pesos (Juarez, x3) 4.) 100 Pesos (V Carranza, x3) 5.) 100 Pesos (Hidalgo, x2) 6.) 2000 Pesos (Justo Sierra) 7.) 5000 Pesos (Cadets, Chapultepec castle) 8.)1000 Pesos (Juana de Asbaje)
all the ones I have seen in person have been in shabby conditions. Yours on the other hand is amazing! I love Mexican banknotes and coins!
The 20 Pesos banknote looks like it has been in a tri-fold wallet and as for 1 Pesos banknote its in great condition plus on the 20 Pesos note you can clearly read the stamp on the reverse .
Tell me about it. I wonder if there is a website that can give greater information about Mexican and World Banknotes.
Here are the rest of the banknotes in my collection scanned at 300 dpi. 1.) Front 2.) Back 3.) Front 2 4.) Back 2 5.) Front 3 6.) Back 3 Hope y'all like 'em. I would like to also add that on the 50 Pesos note with Juarez and with serial number R 7895747, I also have another note with the following serial number R 7895748. I never noticed that until I started going through the notes that I was gonna scan.
These two notes look fantastic. I would love to own a set of these. I just like the design of the Eagle.
