Good evening, all I have been searching ebay and just found these two "2012 error coins". I quote them because i am not sure if these are mint made errors because they look "rough" and 2012 lincoln cent errors of this type of error or magnitude are just not seen anymore like older lincoln cents. If these are indeed 100% legit mint errors i would love to get a go at buying these. So what do you think?

They do appear to be genuine errors, but at the prices bid for the first two, I'd pass.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

the plain clip looks like it has end of roll rolling machine damage.

They are all legit! The person selling them has super positive feedback. Bid on all if your heart desires them...before I do!

They're all genuine errors. However, I can't tell from here if the oval cent is an elliptical clip or an elliptical strike clip. As far as I know, not a single bona fide elliptical clip is known among copper-plated zince cents. Elliptical strike clips are abundant from 1989 - 1994. They are invariably mislabeled by the grading services as elliptical clips.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess bidding prices aren't necessarily "appropriate" prices for certain coins. But like paddyman said i guess its up to your hearts desires.

I like how the 2012 clipped is "uncirculated" yet there is some major roller damage on it.

All that is necessary for the auction price to go sky high is a pair of bidiots.

the first two are going for over $300 each?!?!?!?!?!!!!?!!! WHAT?! who would pay that much for a 2012 penny? Error or not, i would never pay that much, even if i was a major error collector..

Errors are becoming increasingly rare, especially after the mint kicked up its machinery to pick out any non-satisfactory coins. Call me crazy, but I could see coins like this (with exception to the clip) going for $500 if slabbed.
