Looking for photos of low-grade ancient coins to test out my AI Identification and Grading project

I just released v1.28 alpha of Numi, my AI chatbot project, and I could use ancient coin forum members' help with fine-tuning the model.

This v1.28 update to Numi gave it powerful custom instructions to better accurately identify and grade ancient coins.

I also added better Numista database integration. Users will now automatically get a link to the Numista page of their ancient coin, as well as be able to converse with Numi with more details.

Here is a video demo of Numi accurately analyzing a Denarius of Julius Caesar
Coin photos used in the demo

I am looking to forum members for help with fine-tuning the model for increased accuracy. The model does well on high-quality photos of high-grade ancients. But I'm struggling to get high-quality photos of low-grade ancients. I would love to get some photos [3 of each side] of poorly graded ancients. Bonus points if the coin is slabbed with a grade from a TPG!

If you want to check Numi out yourself, you can visit AskNumi.com

Let me know what you think!

I have a box full of my slick bronze "Slugs" as I like to call them. I can pick out a few of them and take some high quality photos. How much detail are you looking for on the coins? When I get home I will take some pictures.

I would love to test them out!

I would just need 3 high-quality photos of each side. Excellent lighting and different angles are key as it will help the AI see all details and crevices. I will post the results!

Here are some photos of a random ancient that I pulled from my bin. If you would like I can photograph some more.

Thanks for the photos! Numi has been struggling quite a lot to find the ID of this coin. I've ran the test multiple times and it's not pulling up anything accurate. Here is a copy of my conversation with Numi.

Let's see if this could help. Can you take 2 pictures of each side of the coin again, but this time shining a bright light onto the surface so that the details of the coin are as clear as possible? Each picture being at different angles.

This way Numi can have more details to analyze. I'll also work to tweak Numi's instructions for Ancient Coins

Sorry about the darkness of the image. I forgot to change my paper background.

Great! If you would like I can grab out a different ancient coin and see how it fairs.

Another one or two coins would be great!

Ok, sounds good. I will get them to you tomorrow. Do you think that it would work with silver ancients?

I think Numi might be able to handle silver ancients. I'm currently updating Numi to have it better integrate with Numista
