Hi folks! I'm new to the game (actually picking up where my childhood hobby left off). I'm gonna start coin roll/pocket change hunting and just when I think I have a pretty good list of error coins I see a you tube video that shows 5 more. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good list to use?? Would hate to pass a coin by without knowing? Hope this is right place to ask this. Tks folks happy hunting! Ed
Welcome Ed! The Cherry Pickers Guides, Vol. 1 & 2 are a good start though they mostly cover the more popular errors and varieties. Others here are good at posting links to good sites, so hang in there and someone will come along.

Don't learn what errors are known, learn about how coins are made and what normal coins look like. Then you can recognize coins that aren't normal, and your knowledge of the minting process will let you know if it is something that could occur during the production process. If it can't then it is PSD.
