Do you have any of these coins?
The Norfed Dollars were produced by Bernard Von NotHaus.
He made them in an attempt to produce coinage that reflected the gold standard.
    These coins/Bullion were made in $1 $2 $5 $10 and $20 silver 2 types in 2008 of $50 silver and $500 gold.
The concept started in 1992 and coins were made from 1998 to 2018.

Bernard was the co founder of the Royal Hawaiian Mint Co. The Hawaii Dalas are some that are rarely seen, You can find the designs in the link below.

These Dollars were seized from collectors due to VonHaus being charged with Federal crimes. But later in 2011 the courts released them back to their rightful owners. With expressed terminology that it was a crime to use them in commerce.

Of you have any of these Liberty Dollars please post them below.
I have attached a link so that you might be able to identify them. Most every type has at least a 1000 strikes and some of them up to 25,000 pieces.

I have 3 of these. The $5 Liberty's were only released in 2006 with a mintage of many thousands. upload_2021-11-21_10-58-18.jpeg upload_2021-11-21_10-57-48.jpeg

The $10 dollar piece was made from 1998 to 2006.
It seems from the site I included this piece is a type 2 and has a low mintage.
The sunshine mint did not mint any of the coins with less than 1000 strikes. This is 2005 #12.5 Long hair lock.

There has been a few threads posted here on CT.

I never new that the the SMI sets were produced. Only25 states participated in the program. And a few of those states have only 100 numbered strikes.

Yeah…. I am a die hard US collector and saw a thread here on the NORFED silver. I rather thought the artistry was inspired so I hunted one down on EBay for just a few bucks over spot.

    You picked a good one.
    According to the link

    #11 2004 $20

    SCARCE!

    (highest auction $256 by heatherstreasures19 on 9/9/20)

This piece was minted in anticipation of rising silver prices driving the face value above $10. The short lived high prices of 2004 did not last long enough, and the move to the $20 base ounce did not happen until Thanksgiving day, 2005, so these pieces were never minted in quantity.

I wonder how those tie into the Liberty Norfed dollars.
The page says they only made the Ron Paul.

It was designed by Bernard von NotHaus, the monetary architect of the Liberty Dollar.

I wouldn't mind having one of each denomination. Except the Gold of course. But I would rather buy them in hand than over the internet.
