    Embarrassing! Title Correction:
Just Paid $55 for (3) *Mexico* $100 Peso Bimetallic Coins

I'm obsessed with Mexico's more recent bimetallic coins, but can never seem to find them for a decent price. I just purchased 1 2003, and 2 2004 coins for $55 total. Good deal, bad deal, know where to get them cheaper?

    Here's the ones I purchased:

    omg. so embarrassing. lol.

Also, not sure what the USD equivalent to Peso is, but the center of these coins is sterling silver. I've read different numbers on different sites, but I believe the sterling silver centers to weigh .649 Oz ASW. I suppose if that is correct, than $55 for all three would be decent.

I think you will find that the center is silver, so the price should be more than face. Uncirculated are in the $30 range. I haven't looked up the amount or purity of the silver.

Hey, thanks Jim. I asked the seller if they had more, and they told me they have about 18 more and offered them to me @ $18 a piece. I think I might take them up on a few of those.

Check out the silver amount first. I don't want to give a wrong answer if you are going to buy more,. Research.
