are the bronze large date ones worth anything since they're still transitional errors? FE81AF8D-9526-4915-8176-CBF9980F9662.jpeg A19DB5F3-1628-414B-8205-93CE93BEBA3A.jpeg

This is not a transitional error.
In 1982, they made copper cents 3.1 grams (3.11) and zinc cents, 2.5 grams.
Large date 1982-D copper cents in this condition are worth .01 cent.
They minted 17 billion cents in 1982. Only a few have value.
The small date Philadelphia's are preferred, in copper and zinc in Mint State condition.
The Denver coins, and the large date coins are not worth as much, but
in mint state condition are worth keeping.
The ultra rare 1982-D small date copper (There weren't supposed to be any)
and at least 1 has surfaced.

    @Stephanie Hicks
If you find a 1983 all copper.. That would be considered a Transitional Mint Error.
    Very rare to find one.
Here is an example (not my coin)

Some other zinc era cents have been found on copper planchets. (I think all are Denver?)

I've only found one 1982 D small date, 3.11 grams. There are other criteria (markers) that must be met I believe.
I found 2 - 1982 small dates. Both weigh 3.11 but one has a die crack. Also have 2.5.small date. They are fairly red but not mint.

Pictures? Clear straight on pictures. And preferably pictures of it on a scale as well.

My bad- it's a 3.11 large date. Couple of the guys here had me in an uproar.

Normal weight for a 1982 D small date zinc cent worth 1 cent.

1982 saw both Copper Planchet and the Copper plated Zinc Planchet . It's normal.

Start by reading post #2 in this thread. Pay special attention to the second and last sentences.

    Then weigh your cent.

In 1982 Denver only made small dates in zinc. (2.5g)
It's true that 2 have turned up on copper planchets, but it's
really not anything to actively look for. Sure if something falls in your lap,
you want to weigh all small date 1982 Denvers, and all 1983 cents to see
if they weigh 3.1 grams. But expecting to find one is unrealistic.
I always said I thought they would find another 1982-D SD copper and they did (quicker than I thought) but you and I aren't going to find it. That's just the way astronomical math works. Sure someone is going to find it, and that someone could be you. Also, someone has to win the lottery (which has easier odds, 2x as easy), and that could be you as well, but it's always going to be someone else.
Odds: Out of 17 billion 1982 cents produced, I estimate 1 billion small date Denver (out of 6+ billion) (and 2 billion small date Philly, copper and zinc)
2 have been found. That's 500 million-1. I think the lottery was around 292 million-1 last time I looked. So it's twice as easy to win the lottery.
They don't have mintages for the small date 1982, but they went to the small date and the zinc towards the end of the year. 1 billion out of almost 7 billion and 2 billion out of 10 billion Phillies are probably pretty close.
If people could understand the MASSIVE enormity of what these numbers mean, they wouldn't be in here every single day claiming to have a 1982-D small date. Only to find out later that it's a large date, or a zinc coin.
