Anyone know? I’m more into coins than paper but I got this as a gift and I’m not sure what it’s worth. ‍♂️

It’s not rare and examples similar to yours sell between $150 - $250. Your serial number is just after similar notes receiving a yellow seal and used in emergency issue in N.Africa. The serial cutoff is B13564000A for the N.African notes.

Oooh ok. Well if it’s worth more than $20 that’s a win for me, .

Basically I was asking if it’s worth keeping or if it’s only worth $10 and I should just go buy a dozen doughnuts with it or something.

So if it was 1934 does that mean that someone could’ve taken in that exact note to the bank and received 10x Morgan Dollars?

Yes. These circulated from the mid 1930’s through the 1950’s and I believe you could exchange these up until 1964. Chances are though, you’d probably receive Peace dollars.

Welcome to CoinTalk. Yeah, I'd just bust that one out and buy a 6-pack of beer...uh I have one I'll sell you. :) BTW, usually better to crop the pictures and post them full-size.

You have a very nice looking note there. Book value is about $150.00 but you might get $250.00 with it being a 65 PPQ. Grade is 65 Uncirculated and PPQ means Exceptional Paper Quality. It's a saver for sure or post it for sale on EBay. Either way you have a winner.

Im not being a joker. I was just asking so I didn’t end up spending it thinking it’s worthless.

65 is just an average gem grade with. usually a lot of centering issues
not much in the way of value however.
