    Hello,

I am new to this forum. I discovered this forum while I was trying to research a coin I bought at an estate sale. I can't tell for sure if it is real or fake. I have seen reproductions , but they just didn't look as old as this coin. Any ideas? I noticed all the small letters stamped onto both sides. Thanks.--Micxster

micxster.... my apologies, I too focused to much on the coin and missed that you were new to the forum. That being said...Welcome. I hope you enjoy it here as there are many kind and very knowlegdeable collectors here. I do know that there is a small market for replication coins, but I don't know much about it. Anyway, you have a neat replica there that would be worth looking up the history of the original coin.

    Again, Welcome ;)
