Looks like the L in Liberty is double stamped.

    I don't think so..
A doubled die is not a double stamp nor a double strike.. Never is.
Do you know what a true Doubled Die variety actually is?

First you need to learn what a true Doubled Die is. Read this website and you will learn a lot! http://doubleddie.com/58222.html

And stay away from useless YouTube videos.. They know nothing!

Also.. Don't be so concerned about "worth"..
First find out what you have then afterwards ask about value.. Most minor mint errors and varieties dont have any major premiums anyway... Again, YouTube lies!

    it was damaged.
Something struck it and since copper is so easily malleable it pushed the "L" to the right and left a little stub of the base.

99.999% of "weird" things you'll see are the result of damage. Coins are made for commerce, not for collecting *unless* you buy the specific Proof/uncirc ones which are make for numismatic collecting purposes and are made to a higher quality standard than regular pocket change type coins.
