Yes the 1992/1992 D CAM's are quite hard to find in circulation and few have ever found one.The two you have are both WAM's,normal but all cents add up.Yes that is possible to the eye for some.Die deterioration, other anomalies, and circulation damage etc could play a trick and make it seem like it is for some. But the true factor is the FG,this chart will be your best friend in identifying the differences.
None of those are the transitional rev. variety. The spacing between the AM and ME are the same. On a close AM they will be touching.
Ok thank you! It's very confusing with all the different YouTube videos.. so there is no doubling of the letters on it either? Darn I thought I had something.. thank you again! I appreciate it
What you are seeing on the bottom 92D is die deterioration doubling, or split plate doubling. This is very common on cents and copper plated cents.
I see. Well I don't think I'll bother with the other ones I have. I obviously don't collect coins but these very pretty pennies were given to me in some change at a flea market and I thought I would look into them. I do not have the eye for true errors and I truly appreciate your input.. thank you for taking the time to answer.
Just like anything else you have to study. You tube videos are for the most part click bait. 99+% of them you can throw in the trash, they are full of mis information. Stick around here, if you like coins, we all do our best to give correct answers and information. Welcome to CT
