Is a 1881 COPY CC mint Silver Dollar worth?

    i have found deep in my collection a CC mint Morgan dollar .. But seems to be a copy? i am unsure what that really means.. Is it Troy Silver? does it have any value other then Melt weight? All information welcome..

    It's probably not silver, either. If I'm right, it has no value.

    From the looks of the "coin", I believe you are almost certainly correct.

    "Troy silver"? If asking if this is a round, the answer is no.

    A decent fake is worth about $5.00 at a flea market.

    If it's actually silver it has that value. If not, it's worth about the postage it will cost if you sell it.
