I have a 1986 and two 1988 Panda gold coins. Great condition as I bought them new and stored them in a plastic coin holder. MS69.

What do you think the value would be? I am going to the Georgia Numismatic Assoc. (GNA) coin show next Sunday.

I think that's going to depend a great deal on which gold Panda they are. 1oz? 1/20oz? Something in between?

It depends on the weight. Many fractionals are worth more in such high grades, but ones like a 1 oz are barely affected.

As for the GNA, I hope you have fun! I know that coin shows for me are like cream for a cat, and I wish the best for you at the show. :)

The value will be determined by their size, condition, mintages and demand.

hope for gold to stay about $2300! Then hope for weight!

The coins are 1 oz. I am not sure of the gold content (U.S. coins are 96.75% gold).

Gold is up since I started this post last Saturday.

Some GNA guys say China is buying back their gold Panda coins and some people say gold is gold. What is your opinion?

The coins did not sell. I am stuck with gold which seems to be going higher?
