Looks like it might be caused by a coin rolling machine.

 

I enlarged your photos as much as I can,
(a closer up photo of the date area would be helpful),
but based just on what I can see, it's probably
more likely to be counting machine damage.

It's circular (most struck thru's aren't), and in about
the right area for typical damage from them.

Not 100% sure, but fairly certain.

I would advise you to start your own thread with pictures and the coin posted above is damaged not an error and if yours is similar the answer is above most likely.

All I know is we need more pictures, just not enough on the post to make a determination. maybe some more different backgrounds would help also.

 

This is another old thread that was brought back to life and the OP hasn't been on in three years!!!.

 

At least people have finally found the search.

 

Waaaay more pictures than necessary. One clear shot of each side of the coin and 1-2 close ups of relevant details is plenty. This is not an error, just damage caused by a coin wrapping machine.
