I finally found a Delaware Spitting Horse!

I know the pictures are crummy but it's the best I could get with my phone. Second picture I had to use my loupe. Lol

I found this one, my second spitting horse earlier this year. They are still in circulation. Congratulations on your find. Here’s mine.

 

Thank you. Your pictures are much better than mine. Lol. How can I do better pictures? I've used both my Android and a friend's iPhone both and I can't get better pictures. Is there a trick to photographing coins that I don't know about?

 

Take a photo with your cell phone snout 6” away from the coin. Then edit the photo do you can enlarge it. The photos I posted were taken with my IPhone. It takes practice, time and patience.

 

Did you find one with the word STAT not STATE???
I found a few when they were first issued.

 

Just for the record, we don't spit, we bleed. And that's through the nostrils when we run real fast sometimes.
