I came across a 2013 Mount Rushmore quarter with error

So I was cleaning up my change drawer and I came across a 2013 Mount Rushmore quarter on the front he’s like almost looks like a blank slug but you could see the picture of the Washingtons face but the rest of it smooth and looks like a cut I was just wondering if anyone else has seen an error like that before?? It’s value?

That's damage. Someone ground it off or something.
To be an error it had to leave the mint like that.
It didn't, this happened after. .25 cents.

We'll never know the real reason why someone may have trashed this coin. Maybe, it was someone whose car was trashed by a bear in the parking lot at Mount Rushmore because they, stupidly, left food inside.

Not a mint error, it was ground off.

 

Only 12 1\2 cents since one side was ground off
