    First, welcome to the neighborhood, Kathy!

    All I see is some discoloration on the reverse. There can be any number of reasons for this.....environmental, chemical, etc.....but it is definitely not a cent.

    Welcome, Kathy, to the forum. I took the liberty of rotating your coin a bit to make things a little easier on my neck. :) I can see why you might think there was a cent (we yanks don't use the term penny) on the reverse as the coloring looks very much so like one. Nope, just good ol' PMD (post mint damage).
