I looked at this site to perhaps buy coins. So I did a little research and I was persuaded not to buy from them.

Keep in mind that it's easy to ruin someones reputation online and many undeserving sorts have been the recipient of same. I choose to do my own interactions rather than believe 99% of what is available on the Net regarding reputations.

I should add for the record that I have not ever done business with them, nor am I at all familar with that party. Just speaking from having watched eBay go wild with negative feedback in the mid 90s when it first hatched.

Your words are appropriate for this thread; one should never go off half-cocked based on a few minutes' research.

But when the very name of the website is deceptive - policeauctions.com has nothing to do whatsoever with police seizure or any type of governmental liquidations - a reasonable person approaches with pessimism foremost.
