Find or buy? And why did you shoot your lunch? Find is boxes of cents from banks. Buy is probably eBay or a LCS.

    I meant short, lol
I think find to buy is what I meant to say. I didn't think ebay looked very promising. But I had more time to peruse this forum. I will look in the for sale section.

ebay sells rolls of "unsearched" pennies which all happen to be the same couple of dates. Your best bet for real unsearched is to get one of those massive lots of 5-10 thousand; nobody's got time to search through a pile that big!

Ebay isn't very promising, but if all you're looking for is a pile of wheats, it'll do.

if you go to www.coinshows.com You can find coin shows in your local area, you might or might not find bulk wheat back pennies at these, but typically some dealers have roles of them.

You can always post a "want to buy" thread. I guarantee there are plenty of us with extra Wheaties lying around.

That's right. They're too busy searching multiple boxes of cents or nickels or dimes or quarters or halves from banks. ;)

I have about $10 around, plus another $25 to $50 of metal detecting pieces that need some cleaning to check them out.

Or should I dump them in Coin Star?

I found a 1909 (non-S) V.D.B. penny in a box that I bought from a bank. I have also pulled countless wheats and even a few Indian heads out of rolls.

I found a coin shop and they had rolls for 3$ so I bought 2. Wish me luck to find some for my collection.
